Currently Delta operates a total of 21 767-400 aircraft. Aircraft fleet number 1820 is painted in the SkyTeam livery, while fleet number 1821 is painted in the Breast Cancer Awareness livery. Also number 1821 is Delta's newest 767-400 having been delivered to Delta on April 15th, 2002. All of Delta's 767-400 aircraft have a seating arrangement of 40 in Business Elite, 28 in Economy Comfort, and 178 in the Economy cabin. Many of these aircraft are used on routes between the US and Europe and even to Africa and some Asian cities. Delta uses the Boeing 767-300(WL) for routes between JFK, ATL, DTW, or MSP to SEA, LAX, SFO, PDX, and SAN. But the most of the 767-300(WL) are used on routes between the West coast and Asia such as LAX-HND or LAX-HNL or SEA-PEK or SEA-HND plus it is used on other routes such as the upcoming route between LAX-LHR which Delta will take one flight from Virgin Atlantic coming in the Fall. These two aircraft are somewhat the workhorse of Delta and are heavily used which is calling for new aircraft to be ordered to handle the influx of retirement of older 767s in Delta's fleet. Tail number 1820 seen here departing from Frankfurt. Seen here is tail number 1821 departing from London Heathrow.
